Now you can know the name of some players that have played the MIC during the 14 year of the tournament history.n
We have found this 2008 picture of the two U-16 Brazil National Selection players, Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior and Philippe Coutinho Correia, who nowadays are popularly known as Neymar Jr (FC Barcelona player) and Coutinho (Liverpool FC player).n
After 14 year of tournament we can talk about a lot of different cases, as Andreu Fontás who played at the MIC with his town t-shirt, Banyoles, to be playing some years later at the 1rst division.n
Jordi Alba was also a brave leader proclaiming his team, FC Barcelona, MIC’01 champion after scoring a goal in the final and being voted MVP of the tournament.
Another player who helped his team becoming the champion with a goal in the final was Joan Verdú, at the MIC’02 with the U-16 team.n
More recently players as Gerard Piqué, Leo Messi, Marcelo, Ben Arfa or Diaby have played at the MIC fields.n
