The second most successful team in the MIC Tournament history will be with us again between 22nd and 27th March. Barça will look to increase their track record in MIC which includes 12 championships –Brazil National Team have 15 – therefore we’ll have their best teams trying to reach a big success.nIn the last decades FC Barcelona, along with other prestigious teams, has been setting the standards for the rest of clubs in formation age. They play fluent football, score lots of goals, have talented players… No much sides pass the ball more often, or more accurately, than FC Barcelona, proving that the principles of tiki-taka are still alive and well stablished in Catalonia, and their football never lacks purpose. nA lot of distinguished Barça players were in the MIC Tournament before they reached the first team. For the last 15 years we have had the pleasure of having with us some current Barça superstars like Lionel Messi, Gerard Piqué, Jordi Alba, Marc Bartra, Sergi Roberto or Neymar, who played and won the tournament with Brazil National team in 2008. And some other players of the world football’s elite played MIC in Barça squads: Cesc Fàbregas (Chelsea), Thiago Alcantara (Bayern Munich), Gerard Deulofeu (Everton).nDefinitely, MIC is so proud to have with us the representation of a legendary football school, La Masia, home of Barça’s young players. Facing off this amazing club teams will be a fantastic experience for every team in the Tournament, even the most modest ones.n
